How can we reduce energy costs while improving light output and quality in our wholesale facilities? This was the challenge presented to Nedap Lighting Controls by this retailer. Nedap's answer was simple: by creating smarter lighting with Nedap Luxon.

Together, we fulfilled the rebate requirements, improved the lighting of the store and reduced energy consumption by 40% at the same time. To maximize the energy-saving capabilities, Nedap added movement sensors to the individual light fixtures throughout the facilities. After installation of the Luxon units the light levels rose above the targeted levels and energy consumption dropped to dramatically. Nedap created a dynamic need-to-use lighting structure that generates positive effects in every possible way.

Tests indicate that human error is reduced by 50% when light sources are operated at high frequencies (no flickering of light).
