Clemmer Steelcraft Technologies Inc.

Project outlines

Clemmer Steelcraft Technologies Inc. in North America manufactures and assembles metal parts for a broad customer base, including silo's and tanks, mining equipment, construction equipment, military devices and large dump trucks. In the manufacturing process large metal plates and parts are cut, bent, welded, grinded and painted in the production halls. For military production and many other products the tolerances for production must comply to rigid specifications.

Saving energy now also means improved safety!'

In most areas of the facility there is no natural daylight available. Therefore the lighting quality depends fully on artificial lighting sources. The management team at Clemmer believed that the outdated 400W magnetic HID lighting network had to be replaced. The main objectives - to reduce energy and improve light quality – the results included a significant operational savings, enhanced quality control, better productivity of employees and most importantly safer working conditions.
